Are you still in search for a dog? We have a female Yorkie that we are planning to sell after she has the litter that she is pregnant with right now. We weren't going to breed her then surprise, surprise. She just has a couple of flaws that I feel shouldn't be breed back. She is a supper beautiful dog and has a great disposition. and is Potty trained. However, she can't go until she has pups in 6 weeks and then they are weaned.

It's posts like this that make me wonder why people own dogs??!!!
As for the original poster, don't get a dog, because animals are like children, they are needy. The good news is the robot dogs are sold at Sharper Image for those that don't want to DEAL with needy breathing living beings.
