My pups who like to chew, gnaw on Dura Hard Nylabones all of the time without any issues....but if they bit ends off, out they would go. They could live without chewing. |
Tell that to Jackson! haha. I think once I have another dog, I won't have the need for chews anymore. When I spend a few nights over at my dads place, with his 2 dogs, we never use chews because they fight over them. But they have each other to play with so it's a non-issue. But another dog is a bit of a ways off. Have you ever had just one dog? (extremely active one dog, who needs a 5-7 mile walk in order to *actually* be truly tired?) lol
When he's just by himself, at night time, he gets really worked up from about 6-7. I'll play with him, and we do training, but on a day like today (snowy and rainy), he will start driving me nuts. He finds anything on the floor (we have a 4yr old living here), picks it up, brings it to me, starts running. I can't ignore it, because I don't want him eating her toys lol. He's just such a better dog when he can have 30 mins of chewing and go lay down.
Here's the petite sized ones in his toy box. Now these he did super fast, like literally in 15 mins. And this what he does, he chews them to that point and that NEVER touches them again.
Thanks for everyones tips and advice though!! Maybe I'll get a huuugee size Flexi and test it out on him. It's gift card money, so at least I'm not wasting my own money!
