Yorkies do not carry the pie bald gene. Biewer had yorkies and shih tzu's. Shih Tzu's carry pie bald. He did finally admit he bred the two together and that's how he got the Biewer.
Biewer is not recognized by any kennel club including FCI and the German Kennel Club it is only recognized by its own registry and UKC in the US.
