Shingles have a life span... 15 year 30 year life.... Some shingle warranties are voided by hail damage. Yes insurance companies can check your roof and say it needs to be replaced... But I find it odd a roofing company that of course wants money is saying it still has life left in the shingles... Hmm let me do some research on state laws because that is one of the states I do not know off hand, I have the app on my iPad for all states but if I can't figure it out I will call my friend that just finished working storms in that area.
PS... My husband and almost all his friends are storm chaser contractors so he is main knowledge point since I am only a certified Florida and Tenn insurance claims adjuster.
