"Minor hail damage but not enough to warrant a claim" Is insurance's own words. And also supported by the roofing company. Kansas is the location. I can't tell you the rating on the shingles or when the roof was last replaced. It is an older home, but my FIL is a do it your selfer, and the home has been virtually remodeled from ground up, so it's an aging dwelling, but a very nice home that's not at all neglected.
