If you have Nutrical by all means of course it is better then Karo. I used Karo like i said and it worked fine of course its just sugar but then again i was trying to raise the dogs sugar level. Also my mother in law and Gf have raised yorkies for years and thats what they informed me worked and it did. So before you dis the Karo try it. It just might suprise you.
