Yorkies are very vocal and expressive dogs. I swear mine thinks she can talk! I would think your dog may need to go potty or is hungry in the morning. Most kids are. Some dogs may whine when they need something but a Yorkie will bark or make various sounds in the throat to let you know they need something. They are lap dogs and do want to cuddle a lot. They also can get cold very easily so many times they are seeking some warmth from their human. They really think they are a member of the family so may expect to be treated that way.
Since they are very energetic dogs they need a lot of exercise. Keeping them exercised will help divert some of that energy. |
