I Had Trupanion for Riley's first 2-years.
I got it with Zero deductible and they reimburse 80% but they
don't reimburse anything for the Exam Fee though.
I canceled them beginning of this year... Even though they say they
don't, his premium went UP at his first year anniversary. They said it
was due to Vet's pricing in my area going up. Well, his Vet is down
near my parent's in Virginia little over an hour away.
I now put that $43.77 a month I was paying them into his own
Savings account... in addition I throw $50.00 into it each time i get
paid.
We had an ER visit a few months ago and the bill was $172.00.
$150.00 exam fee and $22.00 for a Benadryl Shot.
If I had still had Trupanion I would have got a reimbursement
check for $17.60. |
