 Barking to get attention
Hello everyone!
I have a - almost - 5 months old yorkie puppy. She is very obedient, and calm. The only problem is that she started barking to get our attention. She sleeps either in my room or my mom's and in the morning, she barks to wake us up. When we ignore she cries and then stop. But, this behaviour continues everyday. Also, she barks when i'm in the computer, therefore, ignoring her.
So, should we ignore the behaviour or punish her immediately? (i use the Dog Whisperer Technique to say "shhh" and quickly touch her with the fingers) |
