You state the age of the breeders as being in their 60's and having done this type of breeding for many years as though that was a good thing? Older people were once younger people and their ethics do not change with age. These people are making money by breeding poor quality stock and endangering the health and very lives of the dogs.
It is not the fault of the poor animals being abused by these people. It it is the very fact that these people exploit animals to make a living and they are also exploiting the public by selling poor quality dogs for a price that truthfully they are not worth. It is genetically impossible not to create defects in the breed while breeding for the tiny size only. That is what this breeder is doing.
Sorry you don't care to hear the truth but this is a pubic forum and many of the people here do care about the well being of the Yorkshire Terrier breed as a whole. The type of breeder you are defending is exploiting and degrading the breed while ripping off the general public that has no knowledge of what is involved in producing healthy well balanced purebred dogs. |
