Lindsey seems to be doing ok, she's home after 36 hrs on IV at the hosp. Her teeth are white, we saw them when we tried getting the bandage off her leg from the IV. Her sister is doing well also. Lindsey goes back to the dr. for her kidney values/lab on tues Dec 11th. Lindsey is still on Clavamox until next thursday. Both are eating a special prepared mail order diet from Rayne Nutrition, a moderate protein cod diet. They seem to like it and have been transitioning to it with Merrick Thanksgiving day dinner lightly mixed in. The RN diet is specially formulated for the kidney health. I'm also giving each of them 2 drops of Kidney Support Gold in their food , from pet well being as a natural supplement. They have been eating good, and drinking also. Lets hope they stay on this path for a while longer. They seem to feel better with more moving around.

I'm so sorry to those that have lost pets to kidney disease, and I thank you for thinking of them and responding. I've been exhausted lately and have been keeping a journal for the dr. and myself so I can remember what they ate, when and other things. I don't know how long they will be with us, but we're doing all we can for them and hold them close with lots of love & attention. They certainly are verbal when they want something to eat, something that they didn't do before, and they eat more often, would like them to gain some weight, but that's probably not possible with KD. God bless you all and hug your furbabies for us.
