Default New to forum world with a ""wheezy" little girl

We are not sure how this works but we have a 4 year old Yorkie (our daughter's but are keeping Poppy while she finishes Med school) who has developed a wheeze at night. We noticed a cough a while back and took her to our Vet who treated her for a virus. She still has the cough, primarily when she exerts herself or gets excited. My wife (Chris) repositioned her with her head raised and the wheezing seems to have stopped.
Any suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated. bogie
