Welcome to YT. I know it may seem harsh the responses you get here about this but its only because people really care. I was one of those who thought I was saving my first yorkie and we love him dearly but he came from a puppy mill. I also was one of those who thought oh it would be nice to be a breeder since I had just retired and needed a "hobby". Thank God I found YT!!! I look back at my older posts and I am so very thankful to those here who educated me on all of these things. It is deplorable here in Missouri the puppy mills that exist so that these places can make money and then after these little ones are born they are shipped in closed in trailers to these pet stores in which many of them die before they ever reach these stores. I hope that you like me will be able to understand before long why we are all so passionate about this here. |
