Last night , i was lying on the bed just surfin on the laptop. Our pup , dusty , was lying 2 ft away , chewing a piece of rawhide chewtoy thing , when all of a sudden she started yelping in pain really loudly for no apparent reason. It sounded like she was being stabbed with a knife.
It lasted only about 10 or 15 seconds but my wife and I are panicked cos we have no idea why the pup would've done this.
The only thing i can think of is that she , being a pup ,( 1 year old ) maybe chewed something cos we caught her a few times , chewin on things she shouldn't chew , like a tiny piece of coal , a small round christmas tree decoration etc......so maybe a small sharp piece of plastic could've got into her digestive system , or a piece of the rawhide chewtoy went down the wrong way ?

Any ideas anyone ?
