(months, maybe years) Sometimes older dogs shy away from them as they are hard, and just like us, if their teeth are weak, they will naturally stay away from chewing on things that hurt. Hope this answers your questions. I can barely keep up with the demand for these chews, so it makes me believe there are a lot of happy customers out there!
