I do a puppy cut for Bubbles in the summer because it gets really HOT here...then we let it grow out starting around September so her coat will be full by the time it gets cooler. During the Fall/Winter, I just do some scissor work on her face to keep the hair out of her eyes....she's never tolerated a top-knot well.
