You know, I thought after my kids were grown I would never have those scary incidents that cause your heart to race when there is a possible injury or incident with the kids. However, having this little dog I think may have sped up the aging process for me. She has scared me so many times since I have had her. Now that she is an adult I don't have so many scary things happen but I think I have been able to work around some of the crazy ideas she gets! I always have to try to be two steps ahead of her.

I can just imagine how you felt when you saw your little guy was missing. He must be quite a brave little fella to go over and take on the neighbor Pit Bulls! Maybe he had been wanting to meet up with them for a while! I agree that you need to be out there with him for a multitude of safety reasons.
