There's a store in my local mall called The Puppy Store. It is SO sad. Last time I went in there (I go sometimes to give the coworkers dirty looks and to watch for obvious signs of neglect and abuse I can report) there was a puppy who was literally dying in its cage...they let people hold them all the time and don't even make you sanitize your hands, I never see food in the cages, just pee and poop and puppies sleeping in their tiny crates because they're probably being starved so they'll stay tiny. Disgusting. I can't go in there anymore, I literally break down and cry or I start yelling at the employees who are trained to lie about the puppy ages and health status. |
