Yorkies don't have under coats so they get colder more easily then other dogs. Mine even at 16 pounds gets really cold very fast so she pretty much has clothes on all the time unless outside in the summer. Callie loves her clothes and will put her own head through the head hole as well as her arms through each arm hole. I am pretty picky when it comes to clothes though wont do Velcro unless its for a costume for the most part, I make sure there is no buttons or snaps on the sides or neck/chest area and I don't do hoods I think they are useless at least for all the dogs I have seen with one of them and it seems like a choking hazard. Callie if she gets cold shuts down and gets kinda grumpy and she has been known to shake when she gets way to cold.
