I am glad you decided to switch vets, being rushed is not good and thats when most people make mistakes when they are rushing. When Sammy had to get a few shots this year I was talking with the vet tech and asked about reactions and how likely he was to have them and she said that there shots cost a little more buts its because they get the better vaccines that have less additives and are less likely to have reactions to so maybe that is why it would have cost more at the new vet.
