I am so sorry for your loss. RIP Hugo. I don't think you ever get over it. I still think about the pets I have lost.

. I think we adjust and go on but we never forget.

I recently lost my cat of 18 years. We had to leave the light on for her in my laundry room. I still leave the light on at night. I just can't turn it off. I think time heals but Hugo will forever be in your heart.
