Yes this is very true, her life has changed drastically. We have been very loving yet firm so she knows her boundaries. She's a wonderful natured dog and we are so lucky to have her!
I have to say she has been awesome when she has been left alone, so far so good. She doesn't tear anything apart or get into anything.
