It's tough with a strong willed Yorkie, but I wouldn't give up. I'd probably give her a high reward treat after you are done so that she associates this with something pleasant. Katie is really used to being groomed, but she also has a topknot pillow that helps to keep her more comfortable and makes it easier for me to see if I'm putting it in right. Katie isn't resting on her pillow, but the attached photo shows what the pillow looks like. Good luck with your little girl. |
