Nikki the senior rehome yorkie I took in had to have all his teeth remove. He was given to an elderly lady from a rescue. His teeth were in terrible shape. I met his owner and she couldn't afford his medical care so her vet and I came to a deal to get all his teeth removed. Nikki was guesstimated to be 16 ish and he did great in surgery. His teeth were so rotten they had to do gum work. The surgery took several hours but Nikki came through it great. I had the pre surgical labwork done as I always do with any of mine. As long as your vet agrees and the blood work looks good she should be ok. I have to get my Pixie's done soon and it is always scary but it has to be done. Good luck. |
