 Yorkie 15 yrs old, Dental Health Risk ?
Has anyone ever had their 'Senior" yorkies teeth cleaned and have there been any problems. My 3 1/2 lb. yorkie girl, who is blind with PRA shows no signs of bad health other than her teeth get a lot of tartar on them and is interferring with her chewing. I don't know what to decide to do.I know anesthesia is a " high risk " for the older yorkie, as is gum disease and other health problems. Can anyone help me decide about this issue or anyone had good/bad experiences with dentals with their furbabies.
