There are many instances of affectionate girls here on YT, based on what I have read in threads, but I do think Yorkie boys tend to be the more affectionate of this breed. Our breeder told us that while she loves her girls, her boys are easier and more lovey.

As you wrote, each dog is an individual. Max is a very good boy, but he is definitely head strong, whereas Teddy is so easygoing.
