I'm happy you decided to sign up for obedience classes! That will really help improve Bentley's behavior if you find a good trainer.
Just out of curiosity, is Bentley neutered? When Clyde was neutered he had an OVERWHELMING urge to mark
everything. No matter how often I took him potty he always had more to pee. However, once I had him neutered that desire in him slowly ceased to exist. It really helped with
completely potty training, and now Clyde only has accidents on the
very rarest of occasions.
If Bentley is neutered I am sure that the obedience classes will help, but if he is not you might want to look into that!
