I thought I understood microchipping until I read this thread.

So let me ask, the microchip is not directly tied to the service you use correct? I have a Trovan chip but I could register that chip with Avid correct? I thought the service and the chip type were directly related.

Me being the worrier that I am will go ahead and register Sophie Kate with every service if that is the case.
