Since my oldest son just moved out and my youngest is planing on getting married and moving out as well, I found myself at this time of the year
with not much to do compared with years prior, when by this time I had started xmas shopping and was living Christmas through my boys' eyes

I need something to do to keep my mind occupied...lets face it, I can organize my drawers so many times, my house has never, ever, been so clean..
Second to Thanksgiving, Christmas is my favorite holiday, love decorating the house..it was always full of my sons' friends.So I know this year it will feel kind of empty, but I can't let something like that get in the way of enjoying the season ( I keep telling my self!)
I decided to invite a group of friends to have a cookie exchange on Dec 1st. for what I had read it sounds like a lot of fun and we get to expend some girl quality time,( need to star living my own, not my DH or kids...I also keep telling myself)
Now...have any of you ever done or participated in a cookie exchange that can give me ideas on what to serve, how big of a group to have over, games?? Anything that could help..
