Default Need answer

As many of you have read my past posts my little 12 year old guy has a history of pancreatitis. I know that "stretching" is one of the signs of an attack. Tonight he stretched and scooted his tummy across the carpet, which he sometimes does after being groomed, but he was not groomed tonight.

How do I know the difference between stretching because he just woke up and it is just a normal "stretch". And a stretch where he is trying to relieve abdominal pain due to attack of pancreatitis? He has not had any other symptoms.

Thanks!
