[MNT2012]

Hi everyone. My new baby girl Lea just recently got her second set of shots and deworming 3 days ago. Last night I noticed what I deduced were dead tapeworms in her kennel along with her feces, thought nothing of that because that's what deworming does I assume. Just about 30 minutes ago, I was putting Lea into her kennel to sleep ( I do this because I have another yorkie named Toto who is my first baby, and he's a year and a half old so you probably can guess why I keep her safe) and I noticed she had worms actually Coming out of her anal glands so I put what I saw into a baggie so I can take it to a vet tomorrow morning.

Now comes my questions for more experienced yorkie talkers. Is this normal after a deworming? Do they die immediately after leaving her body? Can my Toto get sick from playing with her?and if this is normal, how long should i expect this because it's pretty gross and my wife is pretty squeemish about this.
