I have to wonder why they even made the movie! I guess it was a book first wasn't it? I think it actually happened in another country. Japan I think. I guess they have different values concerning animals there but who on earth would think that people would find something like that entertaining? The Call of the Wild was quite a famous book that they made into a movie that had a terrible ending. I guess Disney made a lot of money ripping people's heart strings out. I remember watching Old Yeller as a child and being miserable for weeks afterward when I would think of it. My parents would not even let me watch the old Lassie TV shows because I would get so stressed about Lassie every week!
