It is really hard to say how a dog will be after the surgery, some dogs come home and you wouldn't even know they had a surgery- some dogs are sensitive and take some extra TLC.

When I got Peanut neutered and baby teeth pulled out he was a mess when I picked him up… Later in the evening he wouldn't eat, wouldn't drink, couldn't get comfortable. It was pretty hard- he to this day is a little dramatic so hopefully Maxi will be a strong boy for you!!

Just wait till you pick him up and get him home, he will most likely be a little out of it tonight, just let him rest..

awww, poor Peanut! I'm sure the extra attention and extra hugs from his mommy really helped him
