Yes I have experienced this with an older one that I adopted years ago. Jazz was at least 13 when I adopted her. We started her on the medication called Anipryl. While it didn't completely resolve all her issues with CDS it did help her some.
Sadly I lost her after only having her 10 months, she was in such horrible shape when we adopted her.
