They scan every visit but I'm sure they don't check backup numbers or anything such as his color, breed type etc. Or maybe they do and the info was there when he was last in this summer - who knows? That's kind of the point of my posting - apparently info can drop out or off if a file is corrupted or a restore is incomplete or a glitch occurs.
