Yeah quite a few of us have lickers. My Brandi is not really a licker but she will have those periods where all she wants to do is lick me usually when she is tired as well. Some people discourage, others don't.

I personally will only allow Brandi to lick me on my nose. I have seen some of things she has tried to eaten like kitty treats (hint:cat poop). I've see her even eat the cat's vomit and then wants a kiss from me.

Also want to add that licking can be their way of letting you know that something is physically wrong with them. You have to know the difference. When Brandi does excessive licking along with pacing, I pay attention. It usually means something is wrong. If you know your little one's quirks, it will be easy to tell the difference between "Im hurting licking" and "Im just tired licking"
