One pf the funeral homes here offers "green funerals" the one my family uses actually...no heavy chemical emboldening but they put people in a casket, its untreated wood so it eventually decomposes...like way after the body has...the idea is to not create leaching of toxins into the earth.

They also offer "green" cremation...

Personally I love this idea.

I can't phathom these forever caskets let alone their costs!

What they hey if yoy want to last forever be shipped to Egypt for "green"cremation old fashioned mummification...just because you're dead and gone doesn't mean its okay to mess up the only known inhabitable planet in the universe...just sayin'.


I will not admit that after my grandpa's naval service spreading his ashes in the ocean a possible part of them was illegally spread in the river at his favorite spot...that would he illegal...just like he liked it.
