I like the idea, but I think I just want my ashed spread somewhere that I love. So much money is wasted on funerals and I think it's excessive nowadays. I know my mom has expressed interest in wanting to be cremated, but we know that if she goes before my dad... she will be buried. He is very traditional and has spent a lot of time at graveyards researching our family geneology.
DH and I are both not religious, so we want to be cremated and have our ashes spread. I think the 'green funeral' is a happy medium... You still get the headstone, but you don't waste money on a box that's going to be buried in the ground. |
