I trim the ear hair on my female on the outside and top 1/3 of the ear. I sometimes trim the hair on the inside of her ears with the trimmers to tidy it up. With my male however, I never have cut the hair on the inside of his ears. He has never had an ear infection or any issues... I don't know. I just don't like the idea of plucking the hair
