That doesn't make any sense. Mine got their first rabies vaccine as a pup, and when it was time for check-up, vaccines, etc one year later, they got the three year vaccine.

I'm in Fort Bend County, and most cities here require the puppy vaccine followed by a booster one year later and then every three years after that ... unless you are in the city of Rosenberg. Their law still requires a yearly vaccine.
