I love the upright look of the Yorkie ears. It gives them that very attentive look. I had a Shih Tzu for 15 years and I really wanted Gracie's ears to stand.
I wanted a dog that would be totally different so I would not be comparing it to my Shih Tzu.
If you prefer floppy ears that is your preference. Apparently many Yorkie owners have dogs whose ears are floppy and they are just as sweet as the ones whose ears are up. I think you would like the up ears if you got accustomed to them. They can be very expressive with them. |
