Since that time I have religiously used a good ear cleaner with a drying agent after baths and changed their food to grain free and last two years..pristine ears.
It is so strange to me how something we know is painful causes no outward signs of pain from these little guys. I know I felt guilty when both of mine had the infections, but it wasn't from being a bad mommy...I just didn't know there was a problem.
Thanks Michelle....thing is there WAS a definite odour...was second guessing myself bc fiance didn't smell it, and she was scratching and rubbing her head on the floor.
You know...I have an ear cleaner that I bought when I got Jersey...never thought to use it, and I feed grain free as well....was giving them yogurt to help with calcium intake when she was a pup to (help) her ears stand....they never did.
Both of her ears are badly infected...I too am amazed at these little ones pain tolerance...
So back to yogurt with dinner and will start using the ear cleaner...its sitting here all nice and pretty in the un-opened box
