Sorry I haven't checked this part of the forum in awhile!
Layla had a ruptured disk in her back and became paralyzed within hours. That's how we found out she has degenerative disk disease. They did spinal surgery, but the damage was already done with the initial rupture. She had another flare-up a couple of years ago that she recovered completely from, and nothing since!
Good luck to Rambo with his surgery coming up! I know they will do a great job with him.
