My daughter has been researching many of Anslies medical problems for six years. One of my daughters issues has been dealing with the feeding tube and trying to get her to eat solid food. I don't know if you could do a blenderised diet for your son but Susan has a video, recipes,etc. on the site that are very healthy for children with feeding problems. It's been a long road but Anslie is making some progress towards solid food.
My daughter Susan belongs to a trach forum and I think it would be a wealth of information for you. While your son is not trached many of these children have feeding tubes or food issues and the parents are very supportive of each
