I love this new system it's far more reasonable than a lot of juicers and extracts nutrients in the same way. https://www.nutribullet.com/index.ph...ore/orderindex
I know pedalite is soooo expensive maybe he'll accept some home made options and you can play around with combinations, sneak some natural acid balancers in for his tummy and give him carious food and flavor choices.
Hope the inertia of positivity keeps on. |
Thank you for the link to the nutribullet, I will be investigating and reading up on it more.
You hit the nail on the head so to speak. We have been trying to figure out if it is painful for him to eat or if it could be like his GI doctor thinks that maybe he is scared that it might hurt. We know that at times he will chew and start to swallow and have to repeat it a few times before he can.
Blending may be a great option for him, because he is not receptive to a lot of textures, but he likes smooth ones yogurts, etc. But he is not big on cold things because of the sensory issues he has.
Dole pineapple cups looks like the next thing we should buy stock in lol. I tried applesauce last night and even though he kept touching his tounge to the spoon something about the texture or taste must have been off because he didn't eat it.
Yes the pedia sure is VERY expensive $9.95 a six pack and we use about a pack and a half a day. But any price is worth it, just to know he's getting the calories that he needs.
