Default Will a 7 yr old yorkie adapt to a pup?

Hi Everyone!

I have a 7 year old yorkie female named Hershey. We almost lost her a month ago from complete kidney failure (she must have gotten into something outside that we were unaware of). It was a close one and I couldn't believe how devastated I was about almost losing her. Anyway, it made me realize that I want another one!

I had bred her 5 years ago. My mom has one of the pups and so does my sister. Hershey is used to being around them, but I'm not sure how she would be with a new puppy? I have a close family and we get together often - so it would affect the other dogs as well.

Is it wise to bring a puppy into the mix? Hershey is 7 1/2 pounds. I'm thinking of getting a 4-5 pound male. Would that be a problem? I want another one so bad but my fear is she will get jealous and won't accept the pup into our home. What do you all think?
