I would say transposing sheet music. It's very tedious and there are computer programs to do it automatically, but nothing beats working out the flats and sharps and writing down the notes in a new way. A relative left me a vintage, leatherbound book of hand printed blank sheet music pages and I love to transpose my favorite songs in new, unexpected keys.
Also, geocaching. Aka stomping around in the woods with a gps, through bushes and branches and leaves, sometimes getting completely lost, to find objects people hide outdoors. |
