We rescued Waffles Or should I say she rescued us LOL Anyways, when we got her she was on breeders choice, vet changed her to science diet she refused to eat, then i put her on wellness she ate for one week then refused to eat, vet said shell eat when shes hungry that went on for 3 weeks, she lost 2.1 pds and I put her on Nutra Ultra grain free. She likes it, eats it, begs for it and is up to her ideal adult weight of 9 pds (Yorkie-poo). BUT I dont like noises her tummy makes on it, sometimes good poos sometimes a bit off, throws up several times a week undigested food. Im going to feed store tomorrow to find another food after looking at reviews of nutra. People on reviews are complaining of their dogs doing same thing and some getting quite ill. IF I had a menu to follow that would keep her healthy and give her EVERYTHING she needed FOR SURE I would cook for her in a minute! Vet isnt for it. Said dog food is better for her. I dont agree. There seems to be no regulation on dog food compared to people food. Seems it would be safer to cook for her. oopsy.. sorry to blabber!! |
