Yep. One of the biggest loads of crap ever sold by the big Pharma. Google it. Even in warm areas that the heartworms aren't killed by cooler temps, they are extremely rare and take 3 months to develop. I wouldn't feed my dogs unnecessary pesticides based on big corporation's profit requirements. Quarterly at most in high risk geography. Most of the country shouldn't be treating their dogs at all. Sorry but I 100% believe this person is wrong and I think your crazy if your willing to risk it because the treatment for heartworm can kill your dog.
