Even in warm areas that the heartworms aren't killed by cooler temps, they are extremely rare and take 3 months to develop. While i do agree that this is most likely true, i don't want to take the chance. I mean I do see mosquitos even in dry southern california.
Where did they get the stat that it takes 3 months to develop? Is that how long in the mosquito? I don't get it
